Career Counsellor

Location: Delhi

Type: Full Time

Working Hours: 9:00AM To 6:00PM

About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Counsellor to join our team. As an Education Counsellor, you will be responsible for guiding students and parents through the academic and career decision-making process, providing support and resources to ensure their success. You will work closely with our faculty and administrative staff to ensure that students are well-informed and prepared for their academic pursuits.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with clients to assess their career interests, skills, and goals
  • Administer career assessments and interpret results to help clients gain self-awareness and insight into their career preferences
  • Research and provide information on various career paths, educational requirements, and employment opportunities
  • Assist clients in developing job search strategies, including resume writing, interviewing skills, and networking
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up to clients to monitor their progress and adjust their career plans as needed
  • Develop and deliver workshops and presentations on career-related topics
  • Stay up-to-date with labor market trends and employment outlooks to provide relevant and timely information to clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and provide regular reports on service utilization and outcomes


Preferred Requirements 

  • Proven experience as a Career Counsellor or similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with career assessment tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Prior experience in a career services or employment center is preferred.
